Tutor finds free bikes to help her student get to work and to their English sessions!

Transportation Barrier Removed
Literacy tutor Nata Traub went the extra mile—literally—to help her students overcome a major obstacle: getting to work and tutoring without reliable transportation. She drove an hour from her home to visit Back In The Game Sports, a consignment sporting goods store in Orange County, advocating for two free bikes for her students who were walking miles to their jobs every day.
Nata not only secured the bicycles but also transported and personally delivered them to the library where she met her students. She even provided bike helmets to ensure their safety. Thanks to this generous support, these adult learners can now travel to work and tutoring sessions with ease, giving them newfound freedom and opportunity.
In Florida, NY, Back In The Game Sports continues to support the community by giving away bikes and scooters to those in need—helping people get back on the road and “back in the game.”
